preparing for your cosmetic tattoo service
To get the best outcome including best healing please read the following information thoroughly
Before your treatment, make sure you avoid using prescription creams like Roaccutane for at least 6 months.
Two weeks prior to your appointment, schedule a complimentary consultation to determine the best service for you.
Additionally, refrain from undergoing intense facial treatments such as peelings, aha-acids, Botox, microneedling, and laser procedures during this period.
Remember to stop taking supplements that may thin your blood, such as turmeric and DHA's, to prepare for your cosmetic tattoo effectively. Do not get sunburnt before your appointment.
The day of your appointment
Avoid alcohol as this thins the blood, and bleeding during the procedure will impact how your brows heal.
Do not take ibuprofen, paracetamol or any blood thinning pain relief medication before your cosmetic tattoo appointment.
Do not drink any caffeinated drinks, including coffee, energy drinks and herbal teas.
You will not be able to continue with your appointment if you:
Have an old cosmetic tattoo that is still very visible in colour. (Exceptions if we’ve already had a consultation)
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Are under 18 years of age
Are taking blood-thinning medications
Have been using prescription creams such as Roaccutane for the past 6 months.
Have an ongoing skin infection in the area such as acne, psoriasis or eczema
Suffer from keloid scarring
You may wish to bring a GP note to your appointment if applicable
